I always wanted to serve in some capacity or find ways to serve others.

After high school, I joined the US Air Force. The Air Force exposed me to an entirely new way of serving. I was introduced to the best part of myself, which was a commitment to give selflessly, strive for excellence, and in the process leave a lasting impact for the better. I retired after 23 years in the Air Force, but I still had the desire to serve. This led me to serving again in the federal government.

I am the Director for Identity, Credentialing and Access Management (ICAM) at the General Service Administration. I manage two government-wide ICAM programs: the Federal Public Key Infrastructure Management Authority, which is responsible for the trust anchor for secured logical and Physical Access, and the USAccess Program, which is responsible for issuing Personal Identity Verification cards to federal customers. In this role, I have leveraged my years of military experience to improve the program. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to quickly implement a contingency plan to continue operations for the PIV Card Services. These efforts lead to a long-term partnership to deliver the first ever federal credential services (for federal employees and contractors to obtain their identification cards) through several U.S. Postal Service retail centers. Our efforts started in the Washington DC area with 6 USPS sites. We recently opened up a center in Texas and will soon provide services across 16 cities nationwide.
