I am a child of immigrant parents who sacrificed endlessly to provide my siblings and me with a proper education.

Their mission was to set us up for a successful future and ensure our road was easier than the bumpy one they’ve taken. My accomplishments and my career were made possible in part because of the federal aid and services my family received as immigrants while we adapted culturally, socially, and economically to become proud Americans. As a child, I always wanted to find a way to say thank you and give back and, as an adult, I realized I could accomplish this by pursuing a career with the federal government. I joined the federal service with the goal of serving, contributing, and making an impact.

I work for the Office of Natural Resources Revenue (ONRR) which is an agency within the Department of Interior. I joined the agency through the Recent Graduate Pathway program as a Minerals & Energy Economist and have been with ONRR for 12 years. Currently, I am proud to manage a talented multi-disciplinary team that delivers accessible digital services and products to the public – the Open Data, Design, and Development (ODDD) team. This small team of talented individuals motivate and inspire me everyday. The collaborative, innovative, open, and transparent culture of my team allows us to accomplish mission critical work while enhancing customer experience. The ODDD team is committed to working with open-source tools to deliver transparent, trusted, accessible, and easy to use information about how natural resources are managed in the United States.
