I’m currently an acting Division Director within the Office of Digital Transformation (ODT) at the Food and Drug Administration.
I am privileged to support engagement activities as well as the administrative needs of the ODT team and allow them to focus on providing for the information technology needs of our FDA business partners. FDA protects the public health in many areas of our day-to-day lives, such as drugs (both for people and animals), cosmetics, radiological devices (pace makers, etc.), and so much more.
In my time as a public servant, I have seen the transition from paper (remember ditto machines?) to electronic files, from mainframes to laptops, and from bulky car phones to cell phones and tablets. As part of the technology-focused office in the FDA, I have been in the front seat watching as we try to improve the lives of our FDA colleagues with technology. I look forward to seeing how we can bring new and updated tech into the agency to make it an even better place to work and continue forwarding our mission
