"I want to create a city in which my kids are proud to call home."
I'm an assistant director in economic development and lead our small business team.
My job is to support and foster the development of our local small businesses in the community. We do this through programs that seek to leverage the City's purchasing power to address documented disparities in purchasing and that support small businesses that may never do business with the City.
Public servants are committed to something larger than themselves and that continues to inspire me. Our job will never be done and evolves on a daily basis. I stay in public service because I want to create a city in which my kids are proud to call home.
