I am the Commonwealth Outreach Manager for Pennie – the Pennsylvania Health Insurance Exchange Authority.
The highlight of my career has been participating in the launch of Pennie, which is Pennsylvania’s state-based health insurance marketplace. As it’s a very new Commonwealth agency, I’ve been working to advance its message through the strategic engagement of key stakeholders throughout Pennsylvania.
In my present role, my mission is to help Pennsylvania's nearly 607,000 uninsured get protected. Above all, I really enjoy helping people discover their health insurance options, especially when they believe that they have no options. Protecting people matters, and working in public service has allowed me to empower others, helping them get to a better place in this life. My inspiration has always been seeing others thrive, succeed, and return that favor to others in need within their communities. I can think of nothing more rewarding than public service. It is more than merely a job; it is an extension of one's self.
