My journey has shaped my dedication to social justice, equitable housing, education, and supporting aspiring young entrepreneurs.

As a member of the Maine State Legislature, I bring a unique perspective to my work. My first term was spent actively participating in the State and Local Government Committee, focusing on issues that impact my communities.

My deep connection to my city inspired me to join public service. I ran for office to actively participate in bringing resources and renewal to the place that holds a special place in my heart. I firmly believe we have the necessary resources to address key issues like housing insecurity and ensure equitable funding for public education.

The highlight of my public service career so far? It's been actively advocating for policies that positively impact my community. Engaging in this process has been truly fulfilling. I've cherished the opportunity to connect with young individuals passionate about driving change. It's been a privilege to empower and be inspired by these young minds.

In terms of policy-making, co-sponsoring crucial legislation like 'An Act to Protect Housing by Increasing the Property Tax Fairness Credit' and 'An Act to Advance Self-determination for Wabanaki Nations' has been significant. Collaborating on these important bills has allowed me to play a direct role in advancing key initiatives that aim to enhance the well-being and rights of my community members.
