I have worked in talent acquisition (recruiting) in the technology sector for over 20 years.

I’ve loved building teams and bringing talented people together to do great work. When I saw how the team at 18F was bringing design methods, user experience and iterative approaches to government, I left the private sector to join the federal government. I wanted to help them grow their team and attract more tech talent to public service. I am currently the Director of the Technology Transformation Services (TTS) Talent Team at the General Services Administration (GSA).

The great part of my work in public service is the people that I have an opportunity to recruit and serve with.  Over the 6 years I have been in public service, I've learned so much from career civil servants and from new recruits as well. The foundation of the federal government is run by civil servants and I feel a deep responsibility to create an inclusive and accessible hiring process to bring more people into public service. When you bring diverse groups of people together to solve complex problems that benefit the American public, magical things happen. It is an honor for me to work with my amazing team of recruiters, HR staffing specialists and hiring managers to make this happen.
