I am the Executive Director of LGBT Affairs in Philadelphia’s Mayoral Office.

In my office, we work to foster equitable working and living conditions for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) people and to advocate for LGBTQ issues in all areas of city government.

My office proudly supports the return of the Michael S. Hinson Jr. LGBTQ+ Leadership Pipeline, a cross-sector initiative aimed at increasing the number of transgender people, young people, elders, people of color, and people with disabilities on LGBTQ-serving nonprofit boards. In addition, my office recently launched a two-prong initiative aimed at supporting Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ workforce, including sexual orientation and gender identity data collection efforts and a new policy guidance for supporting employees who are undergoing transitioning while on the job. My office also hosts a number of community engagement opportunities, in

collaboration with other city agencies and nonprofit community partners.

I've always been a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ residents, with a particular focus on the transgender community. Ultimately, one of my biggest passions is providing support, education, and resources throughout the community. I can think of no better place to institute meaningful change than inside City Hall, where I have witnessed firsthand, the efforts of the Office of LGBT Affairs at work.
