"Exhausting all options to support the warfighter."
I served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps for 14 years.
In 2014, I wanted to continue supporting the mission of the Department of Defense (DoD) even though I made the personal choice to take off the uniform. It seemed a natural transition to continue to serve as a federal civilian. I am currently an account executive in the Customer and Stakeholder Engagement Division (CASE) of the Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) at the General Services Administration (GSA). I specifically support the DoD and our team is responsible for aligning with the strategic acquisition goals of our customer and providing them with the acquisition support they require to successfully accomplish their specific mission.
I have had the opportunity to work on many projects across multiple disciplines since I joined federal service in 2014. And yet, the highlight of this work is always the people. Time and time again, the people on my teams have been dedicated, like-minded U.S. Citizens and Foreign Nationals that believe in what we do. I continue to be inspired by the dedication and creativity of our team members when it comes to ensuring we have exhausted every avenue available to support the warfighter and their mission.
