I've always had a passion for using design to make a positive impact, but I wasn't quite sure what that meant in practice.

I didn't initially associate design with government or public service. However, I love being a part of solving problems and providing solutions, and when I learned more about what working in design and technology in government entails, I realized it was a perfect fit for me.

I'm currently serving as the Director of Digital Services for the City of Philadelphia's Office of Innovation and Technology. I oversee a dedicated and talented team of content, user experience, and technology professionals who work together to build and maintain phila.gov and other public-facing applications that provide essential city services and information to Philadelphians. The website serves the needs of our department partners, residents, and businesses, and we're continually working to ensure that it evolves to meet the ever-changing needs of the city. I take pride in making Philadelphians' access to digital products more efficient, understandable, and easier. It's incredibly rewarding to know that my skills and expertise are being used to make a difference in my community, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve the public in this way.
